Hi Guys, I mentioned in another post, that I going to investigate if I could dye the black pinchweld that is currently available. I had the dye colour matched to the original pinchweld. I had some Leatherique Prepping Agent left over from a previous project, so I wiped it on and then did three coats of dye... It's a tedious job, but it's turning out OK..... Cheers, Geoff. |

The pinch weld is the welded flanges around the door, you have a door seal .The flange cover can easily be painted with 2 pac primer and colour. Also Bunnings sell epoxy spray paint suitable for vinyl the paint works well. They have a colour about the same as your sample. You can also buy a clear plastic primer then colour on top excellent adhesion. Spray cans. Allen |
