| Post subject: | Mounting Rear Seat |
Hi All, Just wondering how to rear seat and back rest are meant to mount in the mini clubman? Mine were just resting there, with the backrest hooked over the lip of the parcel shelf. I did find some threaded tabs hidden under the upholstery along the top edge of the backrest... Thanks |

backrest should have pieces of thick wire that thread through holes near the base of the rear firewall, then it pushes down (as yours is) and hooks over the lip of the parcel shelf with a couple of screws in it. The squab should have a thread poking down from each side that go through holes on either side of the front edge of the seat base that's assuming a clubman isn't too much different to a '70 car... |

Thanks, sounds right, I have the thick wire bits on the backrest and base, although one side is missing on the base. I guess I just need to find some screws to fix the backrest. Thanks! |
