Suggestions for tyres to fit 12" x 5" cheviot mag wheels please. Were fitted with 145 70 R12. any help appreciated for brand, size |

I bought 8 new tyres when travelling in Australia - Falkens for the 12"x5" alloys on the Mini. I would have preferred Yokohamas but they were not available (even contacted Yokohama direct). The Falkens were OK for our travels in Australia and one last trip across North America & back. Replaced with Yokohama A539s...which get to Canada via the UK (likely the same scenario in OZ but I did not explore that in 2011 as I was not in OZ at time of purchase). Thanks, I have found a Yokohama supplier online and can get 165 60 R12 at $129 so all good. Nearly all replies say hook rather than falkan |
