Hey all this is probably a simple thing but should there be a thread on the end of the rod inside the handbrake for the button to attach to? My button has come out but does not seem to be able to fit back on. Have attached pics |

Thread is broken off. Find another handbrake lever, or weld some bolt thread to it. |

When I restored my car recently (last 5 years) there was no thread on the rod to which the button attached. Bought a new button from MKO and it was a push fit - not screwed. |

Yeah it def doesn't look like it has been broken. But hole in the button is smaller then the rod. Might just drill it out n stick it on. |
