Hi folks
Have measured up the current end float at .28mm , I think that’s 11 thou.
Is typical about 5?
Would you recommend I replace the brass spacer ?

Simon,
Vizard in "Modify your Mini" says endfloat should be between 0.0035" and 0.0065", aim for lowest limit in the interest of minimum gear noise.
Matt Read sells spacers of varying thickness so you can set the correct clearance. Also check the condition of the outer thrust washer and the "C" ring, as they are prone to wear which increases endfloat.
