Hi chaps, hoping someone can tell me if the sender to suit an electronic temp gauge (fitted in the head casting near the thermostat) needs a copper washer or sensor sealant? It’s NOT a tapered thread on the sensor. cheers, Silas |

No. Just screw it in, it seats on a tapered face in the head. |

A low strength thread sealant helps if you have any leaks there. I use a low-strength thread sealant in most cases just to be sure. |
