I got a blue slip for the CS on Friday All went well ,although he said it feels a bit harsh I fitted Polypropylene bushes in the engine stay should they be rubber, Also when I fitted the gearbox extension mount I had to really lever it into position, any ideas on harshness ?He also wanted to know why I moved the seats 22mm towards the centre of the car it was for clearance on retractor belts, he commented it gives a better driving position. They are harsh Allen Its the animal .Ive seen a mate rip a firewall where the clubby engine stay bolts on and had to be welded up and that was in all rubber days.I dont think urethane would be an issue with a "normal driver " haha |

I did mine last weekend - engine steady on, lift up the remote up - if the linkage doesn't engage I put a jack under it with a little bit of pressure and wiggle the gearstick, then it just slides up and bolts in. |

changed one of the engine stabilizer bushes from pp to rubber big improvement |
