As per title ausminiers. Currently removing the engine from my 850. Any tips on disconnecting the magic wand shift? All my manuals don't show anything besides remote and rod. |

if I post the wrong answer, someone will correct me... the stick has a plate over it held in with 2 bolts, undo the bolts and the stick and plate come out. You should be able to get to them after you take the plate off the floor on the inside SP #64 has a picture of the back of the box, but no useful description other than "remove the hex screw and spring" |

Correct Simon. Once you remove the plate and rubber boot there are two bolts holding a plate that retains the gearlever. Attachment: 4712DA30-9366-45CD-9D72-89605255F226.jpeg

Thanks guys, appreciate your help. Car is up on stands currently and has easy access to the bolts on the plate. |
