I've seen some of the old 850s with some nice white painted wheels. Most early cars seem to have the silver birch colour happening, but I love the white. Just wondering if this was an official colour at any point or if it's just something owners have done for that retro look? May do the same

The UK cars used the colour “Old English White” or OEW. I think it’s what they used here too. It is similar to MINI pepper white. Early brochure with white wheels viewtopic.php?f=32&t=73895 |

Ooh nice thanks! I guess it matches the white roof if one went for that colour combo. Though I think the 850 only came in single colours |

Correct, single coloured cars. Did the sports 850 have the white wheels? |

I think the Sports 850 would have whatever the current production colour was |
