Looks like if you take the allen grub screw out that fixes the shaft still to a rocker pedestal you can squirt lots of oil in there for pre starting engine.
Mine are dry due to mods that turned out great.

Yep slacko should have oiled on assembly but getting clearances right with lots of shims in various thickness.
