Hello all, I can’t find any info on VIN or Engine numbers for SS models. Do these look correct and true to a 76 SS? VIN: 022D2S3N09/22074 Engine number:99H791P/112594 It’s a (998) Cheers. |

022 - Mini S (not the basic model) D - 1974 to 77 2S - sedan 3 - special trim eg SS M - manual 09 - 998 engine |

Should have Leyland Mini SS on the compliance plate .The 3 in the vin number stands for 3rd model(Not SS trim) |

It gets confusing trying to work out the differences with an 021 Mini with the code (1) or (2) and an 022 Mini S with the code (1) or (2). |
