Just saw a post on the Ausmini Facebook group about hard to get parts to maintain the Mini auto transmission. It seems some parts are being manufactured in Japan and are available for purchase from Australia. A kick-down lever and a third clutch pack are mentioned.

For those who have avoided Facebook to date I can suggest that you simply register yourself so you can see the various Mini related groups and not actually post trivial things, like what you had for breakfast.
