Discovered my cast powder coated bling rocker cover had clearance issues with rockers. I have jacked them up with shims for geometry. The answer from the man is run a standard one. I can paint it nice and it wont be a pita. My pushrods are in painted to check clearance. Getting there.Have a great weekend all! |

Or, being a cast cover, you can have the rear wall of the cover thinned down. I had an engineering shop do (what I think was called??) a fly cut across the inside, back of the cover to clear Titan 1.5 RRs. Cheers, Ian |

Thanks mate We have a local powder coat and paint business done some great work for me at a good price. They are doing my tanks and can do the standard cover. Its great doing the mini now compared to a kid with no funds with my first car. 998 Deluxe oil burner crap brakes |

I threw away the 2 soggy now natural rubber grommets and made some polyurethane washers 4mm thick that sit on top. Allows the rocker cover to be pushed back to clear. Edit: pic sent. |
