Get it in the ball park, then start it up and check the base timing at idle and the total advance at above 4000rpm

If your using a standard AYG0175 dizzy then the mechanical advance weights are 15 deg.

5 deg BTDC static or about 10deg at idle will give a max of 35deg at 7000rpm.

I have the weights locked, and set the timing to zero degrees. It helps if you warm up the car before this so it runs smoothly.

Then you can set the timing on the stealth to get the timing you are after.

Do you just have the Accuspark dizzy module or the black box as well?

There is a big difference and my first reply was referring to fitting the Accuspark Stealth Module like this one -

Is the stealth black box still available? I thought they dropped sales of it a year or so ago.

I still have Stealth kits available here. Problem with them is that the program/Disc is for windows 7. We have been through all this before.
