My hydrolastic mini pulls severely to the side when I accelerator or decelerate. It is worse when in the car without passengers. What's causes torque steer as my front end has been recoed? One of my back helper springs knocks under load, where the outer bush has perished.c Could this be my problem as the weight shifts under load. Any assistance would be good.

Diving to one side on acceleration and the other on deceleration can be caused by Loose steering arms, Play in the steering rack, Play in the steering tie rod ends, Worn Bushes anywhere.

Your heading is Death Wobble but your description is more like excess torgue steer due to loose or worn components.

Does the car/steering wheel wobble as well when driving in a straight line?

The steering arms loose are the usual culprit. They must be a neat fit on the locating dowels, ditto the dowels in the swivel hubs. A friend's Mini needed a new hub, new dowels and an unworn arm to fix this.
Just tightening the bolts with worn parts doesn't work.

Get the caster & camber settings checked, torque steer can a
problem with old minis & so many of them will just drift to the left anyway :? .
it only takes a bit of impact damage to send them out of alignment .
Hydro minis tend to do it worse as they lift up at the front quite high on
acceleration & this can alter critical alignment settings .
( Been there before many times ). It could also be a diff problem?
bearing pre load etc ?

nup, something is very loose - if you're not confident to fix it yourself then take it to someone who is, and get it fixed ASAP

I have found the hardy spicers are flogged out and the bolts securing them to the output shaft were loose. The cv joints are clicking when I turn circles. Also talking about bump steer would the helper spring missing a bush assist in making the car pull to the side under load.

I don't think so. But I would check the rear wheel alignment, if toe in isn't equal each side it is crabbing. This can cause a similar sensation.

acceleration, coasting, braking? Is the effect the same throughout all? acceleration/braking load the suspension differently and braking with clutch in will eliminate driveline input. If it remains the same throughout these stages it's probably suspension/steering to body mounting issues. Forget torque steer(from the driveshafts), it's happening during braking. You need to put the beast up on blocks and start a thorough inspection. Use a jack to load up suspension, wobble, turn, push and try to find the slop then a string line and tape measure to check symmetry, something will jump out at you (for me it's usually a spider)

It's steering is fine when driving. It only pulls hard to the side if you tramp it or gear down. Basically at the initial point of load.

My diagnosis is still 1 or both steering arms are loose on the hub dowels.

An area I would pay particular attention to is the front radius arms, the arms themselves as they have been known to break at the front where they mount at the bracket on the subframe., the condition of the bolt at the lower arm and also the integrity of the mount on the subframe.
A friend of mine had the radius arm break at the front mounting at 100ks hr on the hwy resulting in a very abrupt lh turn into the scrub with absolutely no warning , he was very lucky to survive and always carried the broken radius arm in the car to educate other mini drivers of the importance of the arm, he had used urathane bushes on the front mounting which helped it to break, use urathane at the front of the bar mounting but rubber behind it.
