Hello All,
I am having trouble finding a new core or a good second hand one. Does anyone know where I can get a core.

While awaiting other responses I suggest you do a search on heater core or similar.

I did and found this post where the owner replaced the core. Try a PM to him to see where he got it.

Doug you are right, I did replace mine. The ones shown in the link fit our housings. I think the note about moving the inlet pipes refers to the Moke application only.

Yep I removed the tanks and the core is RS to fit a new core will cost $350.New one from John S $190. The radiator shop told me they cannot compete with the cost of new heater units .

Mine was slightly cheaper but I had the inlet pipes moved too. I also questioned it. Expensive for such a small core. I couldn't see the correct one for my car. Bit the bullet and had it done. Haven't picked it up yet so I hope they did a good job. Have had radiators done by them before and turned out pretty good.
