I decided to cleanup my head Attachment: Mini Mk1 Cylinder Head Red 002.jpg and found a piece of wire in the water jacket, it was in one piece before I got it out.Attachment: Mini Mk1 Cylinder Head Red 001.jpg

From what I understand they are reinforcing from the sand cores from when the head is cast. People here have found them before. |

MAybe you should consider putting it back in there...its been there for fifty years now, maybe its a lucky charm |
