Hey guys happy Aussie day Just a quick question about radiator caps. I have a 78 clubman that is losing a lot of water when it gets hot i think its the rad cap spring being old and losing its spring so it doesn't make a good seal. Does anyone know what cap i need and where to get one? I bought what i thought was the right one from mini kingdom but its is way bigger then the old cap and doesn't fit the rad. The radiator isn't a standard one, the cap you need is a more modern style common on jap car. Nip down to supercheap, they'll be able to match it up. Theres two types of the little caps, both similar in size but the differences are obvious. Should be a .90kpa cap i think, not 110. You heater tap is probably seized open. Try moving control back and for a see if it moves at tap. |

Remember it will push out 1/2 the top tank due to expansion when it gets hot. There is a fill mark inside the neck about halfway down. Fill to this when cold. |
