Hi All,

I'm looking at installing a heater in the next few weeks, just wondering which demisting vents are suitable for the basic 850 dash and will hide behind the trim? Originality is not an issue as long as it's hidden.

I've seen minikingdom has these plastic ones listed, will these work or do they only suit the padded dash?

I don't know anything about Clubmans but for an 850 wouldn't you need the earlier steel ones? I think they're quite a bit wider to fit the vent flutes cut in the top dash rail. (I don't know anything about 850's either! I assume they have the vents?)

RH tank cos I needed it crossing the Nullarbor etc..

Plastic clubby ones fit, they are much the same shape as the steel Cooper ones.

There is no inbuilt duct on the RHS

Thanks Kev. I'm guessing I'll need 4 x clips like this too?

The odd shaped rectangularish steel thing on the RHS? It's there on my '67 Deluxe, that's why I haven't got around to hooking up the heater..
Ooooh! Do I have Cooper S heater ducts? Value of the car just went up! Actually they are Mini K ones, maybe they're the same?

No that’s for the fresh air heater which was standard on the Matic and optional on the deluxe & K.

You can put Cooper shrouds on top but no need really.
Looks more original without.
