Cheers.

Fuel injection on 5 port mini engines is pretty tricky to get right due to the siamese ports, and for a carburettor car you need to add a new fuel system with high fuel pressure, return lines, all the sensors to get the ECU to work and you'd add in a new ignition system at the same time.

There is one here that had a similar weber style injection with a downdraft setup. You might need to register to view the posts.

That's basically what I thought was involved.

I'm running a morris 1500cc motor with custom intake manifold, already running twin 45mm dcoe webers. I also have a facet type electric fuel pump setup, and I have recently completely overhauled my ignition setup with new electronic distributor, new high power coil, new leads and plugs too... I was looking at it thinking some of the fabrication work is already done, but it still sounds like a fair bit of work and knowing what you're doing to get it done right.

You’ll need a fuel pump rated for fuel injection as you need much higher pressure than for a carb system. You normally have a fuel pressure regulator and a return fuel line back to the tank.

For the ignition system I’d ditch the distributor all together and use a modern coil pack and a trigger wheel for crank position sensing
