The chrome trim piece that goes from the front to rear fenders... Mine has shrunk a bit and no longer pushes back on, has anyone had luck removing the whole thing and trying to re-shape it so it fits (obviously it would be a fraction short one end)? |

Once it shrinks a bit and pulls away from the bends it seems to be past realigning. There comes a point where you just replace it. |
