Don't know what they sell for at local parts stores, but none of mine had any in stock so I ordered from this:

One for now and one for Ron!

Didn't the S have a felt cartridge, not paper? I often wondered why..?
You can still buy either.

These are the ones i have. My car currently has R2053P and it fits and works well. I also bought some GFE103 filters as they were listed as the same and were only about $5 each but havent tried them yet.

My car does have the original oil filter housing (without switch) and a felt cartridge.

It was a fine filter, and caused a lot of back pressure. Hence the filter housing didn't have a bypass. It was all or nothing.
