I feel it is a bit silly to start a whole thread for such a trivial question, but couldn't think of any other way to ask!

What size is the bolt/nut for the rear seat base?

I dug through what seemed like 50 different nuts that came with my car and none of them fit :(

Great, thanks, don't know how I missed it!

For anyone else playing at home: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Qty-2-Wing-Nut-10-32-3-16-UNF-Imperial-Stainless-Steel-304-A2-70-SS-/231740044071?hash=item35f4c87327:g:Y3wAAOSwA4dWN6Uc this is the right thread, not quite 100% accurate in its style but close enough for me.

Reading the other thread it seems that they are not quite the same as the original.

My 1970 Cooper 'S' had a wing nut screw holding the centre front rear seat, if that helps.

True, but a pressed steel type is a little closer to the original :D
