Hey all, just chasing opinions on a bit of pitting in a master cylinder. I gave it a quick hone and the only bit of corrosion that didn't come out is as pictured. I can't feel it when I rub my finger on it, but just don't know if I should proceed with a rebuild or should expect it would be doomed for failure? |

The worst that can happen is that you may find it leaks a bit once you get it back together... it won't suddenly fail. If you can't face doing it twice then get a new one. Otherwise give it a go... if you can't feel any roughness then I would be optimistic. Cheers, Ian |

The first seal starts a long way down the bore. Just measure the depth from the circlip groove to the seal. |
