Hi everyone, im currently wiring up my 81 moke resto ( new loom), everything working as it should BUT.... the loom has two dash signal lights and 81 moke only has one signal light in middle top of speedo. Whats the process to wire this up? I know its not a case of hooking both wires to one globe as it feedsback to other indicator ( just learnt that, lol). Any ideas, have all other wiring sorted ![]() |

My guess would be you would have to put a diode in line from both wires and then join them together to the common light. Cheers Shane |

Get a 3 terminal flasher can disregard the two globe holders in your loom ( don't cut them off , wrap in tape ) get another globe holder that fits in your speedo , connect the feed wire to the 3rd terminal on the flasher can Should work like the blinker light on the mk1 indicator switch |

On motorbikes they put + light wires L & R to the same globe, one as power and other earth. Actually earths through opposite side but doesn't light them up. |

You can also use a double insulated Dash light globe holder Same as used for the Oil and Gen light and connect the two wires to it it will pork well too. The two wires are Green White and Green Red, the bulb will get positive from one side when switched on and goes to earth through the other that is off and Vice versa. Why add unnecessary wires? |
