Hello everyone, I'm new here!

I have just purchased a '65 deluxe and I'm needing to transport it from NSW to VIC.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a carrier you have used? companies to avoid?

I've had a few quotes ranging from $700 - $3500! I'm after a door to door service.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Clint.

Clint I have sent you a PM with contact details of who I've used to transport cars in the past.

Hi Hank. I did call Prixcar they said due to the age of the vehicle it would need to be fully enclosed and quoted $1700? Maybe I give them another call.
Thanks for your input.
Cheers.

Congrats on the purchase :)

I used this guy (this is from my contacts, he's not called "Mini Mover")

Image

It is a guy and his wife who have a big diesel van/truck that they sleep in and a double car trailer towed behind.

They do trips Perth through Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney up to Brissy. I had mine shipped Adelaide to Newcastle and I think it was $600 or $800 or so, I'd have to check. Or you could just ask him. I was happy with him.

Take plenty of oil and some sensible spares and drive the beast home!
