Hi all
After some advice on a starting issue I'm having with the clubby: I turn the key all the way to start, but nothing happens; no click, nothing. I then turn key off and then try again and after three seconds or so it turns over and starts. Battery is new and tests ok. Is the starter motor the first thing to check?

Any help appreciated.

More likely it's the solenoid. Their copper contacts wear out eventually.

Agree with Doc. Try starting via the soleniod, as in put a screwdriver accross it.
