Post subject:  Wombat's voltage stabilizer wiring

So I've had one wombats voltage stabilizers for a few year sitting around not in the car now selling it to a mate but don't have the wiring diagram what goes with it. I know there is a fair amount of guys on here who have one.can anyone shed light on the wiring.... colors of mine are red black and white..

Wouldn't be as simple as black-ground red-12v white-10v ?

Heard back from the man...

Black = common earth
Red = 12 volt(battery) supply
White = 10 volt output to instruments

Not strictly correct as I understand it. Can be proven wrong ....as I am no electronic guru :) . Depends what chip he is using. The LM2940T-10.0 has reverse battery protection.

Which is one of the many reasons why my regulator was fitted with that device.
