The only thing with the rover frames coming to mind is if they are rubber mounted instead of metal on metal like the old.

Rear subframes are the same, possibly with the exception of some exhaust mounts on late cars. At some point Rover changed to a larger trunnion/bush at one end of the rear subframe, but these are interchangeable.

MPI front sub-frames had lower mounts for the radiator.

looking at a picture i just saw, the rear subframe only has a 3 way splitter for the brakes on the later model rovers, and the earlier ones had a brake pressure regulator

Rear subframes are the same except for exhaust hangers welded onto frames originally fitted to injected cars.

A uk mk3 mini front subframe has different tower, front and rear mounts.
In the 80s a bracket was added to the front bar for a lower engine mount stabiliser.
In 97 the mounts were added for the front radiator.

Subframe is no different because of the hand brake- the tabs on it are all the same.
I converted my deluxe to rover single cable handbrake it was easy and works heaps better than the original.

Just need the rover handbrake and cables.
Body mods are easy- just a single hole to drill in the top of the tunnel and make a small bracket to support back of handbrake. Easy.
