I thought about including this in the other thread about Air Boxes but decided against it , ( didn't want to hijack the thread).

A comparison of the 2 that i have , shallow body type on the left, and MK1 Cooper s type on the right .
There is also a difference in the lid where the wing nuts go .

My questions are , A:, what is this type of air filter box off ? I have heard before that this could be an English type , or it could be off a Clubman GT , any ideas people .

B: What air filter actually fits these boxes , as you can see the Ryco A-256 is too tall for it.

I'm sure any local parts shop would have a shelf full of filters to test fit?
