OK - starting to panic - the Mini HAS to be working for my sons wedding in 4 weeks so questions will come thick and fast as it is years since I has been working on it and I have forgotten what where and why I did some things.

Like the Nissan electronic distributer - two wires - one blue and one black with white trace - where do they go? also near the alternator there are three wires from the loom one white and two white with black trace what were these for? alternator is hooked up

white is ign power to the coil, so is the blue from the nissan dist, to the pos on coil (same terminal as the white)
white with black trace, is neg from coil to dist (also taco trigger),
so now it`s also the same as the black with white trace from nissan dist

WRONG!!

Blue is neg, black white is pos.
Get wrong and it burns out the module.

PS. I have fitted lots.

Thanks Doc - makes more sense blue being equivalent to black in AC
