Apparently the windscreen washer bottle on the early production Mini Clubman vehicles was mounted on the radiator shroud, the one attached to the engine that supports the radiator. As a result it was subject to puncture by continual rubbing against the lower valance flange through engine movement. Below is the factory issued instructions to Dealers to re-position the bottle on early cars in for routine servicing. I don't believe there was a recall as such. I wonder how many of those early vehicles missed the re-work and still have the bottle in the original position? Attachment: Clubman Washer Bottle Relocation Instructions.jpg

Mine did. Still have the bottle and bracket but im putting an electric pump in now. It literally had 5mm clearance. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk |
