The photo above appeared in the first of the Morris brochures printed in the first half of 1969 so still shows the Mark 1 Cooper S. By April 1970 the picture changes to show the Mark 2 Cooper S. Subsequent versions were produced in Feb 71 and May 71 to include changed items, such as rear seat belts as standard.

So sorry, bit confused, the "first of the Morris brochures" you mention that my image is from contained what? Was it a K brochure with extra pages for the matic and cooper s?

Or were they just a single sheet with specs on the back?

Just wondering what brochure this image below is from (if any?) Apparently it is almost identical to one that features in a Mini K brochure, but the car in that brochure is a monotone Mk2. Attachment: coopssales1.jpg

I've scanned the early version and posted it here - viewtopic.php?f=32&t=94542 This 8 page brochure was updated in April 1970, Feb 1971 and May 1971. You can see the publication dates below the British Leyland logo on the back page (final version shown below) Attachment: Mini K Full v3 small p8.jpg .

Thanks Winabby. That's interesting. Also interesting the later brochures seem to show the mk2 with Tasman mags fitted rather than standard wheels. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
