What type bottom arm Bushes are people using today? I have fitted the Blue non rubber ones to a mini and without it being used they just crumbled and fell out. |

I stuck with rubber. Poly bushes I tried either crumbled or flowed out of shape. |

One of the problems with "plastic" bushes is that you don't really know what you've got. I bought mine from Gary(??) Nolan in Adelaide and they've lasted many years. The main issue however (IMHO) is the use of adjustable caster... which plastic bushes struggle to accommodate. MiniSpares (UK) supply "offset" rubber bushes.. in that the holes are not co-axial with the outer to allow for the non standard angle of the lower bush pin. And don't forget to work out whether you need parallel or wedge shaped bushes in the first place.. Cheers, Ian |

Its the shape of the bushes - one arm type takes bushes with a taper whereas the other type does not. I think most early minis take the straight bush whereas later minis / adjustable arms from the UK etc take tapered bushes. |

Uuumm you poke your finger in the hole where the bushes go. If the hole is cylindrical, use the straight bushes. If the hole is narrower in the centre than at each end, use the wedgie type...
