Stock 1098, yes it will work if the chokes are not too big. I put a 40 Dellorto on a worked 1098 (1152cc) years ago and it made 52HP at the wheels during ausmini dyno day in Castle Hill. I think it had 32mm chokes in it, a 295 head and RE13 cam. LCB exhaust. You would want 30 or smaller chokes for a stock 1098. Really though, you should mod the motor first- cam, valves, valve springs, head work. |

My untuned 1152 had a 45 on it with 36 chokes and made 51?hp @ the wheels... Open 202 and a wild high lift scatter cam... Do it... That sound... |
