Well I finally found a 1967 Deluxe for the missus.
She's called him Monty but i call him "Rusty Gold" as it is getting bloody hard to find an original matched numbers car that hasn't been too molested-He even has the original lino under the carpet.
The plan is to do a full bare metal resto on this one and she wants it purple (yes that's right!!)
Shame really as he would look good repainted in original Snow White with the red interior
I'll be starting on him as soon as my Red Mini K "Panda" has been put back together (~Winter 2017)

That's a beauty, only the steel parts have rust, the rest is fine. :-)

I don't have a PVR for HD channels so I am always tired at work on Wednesday mornings!

Why not get yourself an el cheapo HD STB to go in the aerial line before the PVR?
That way the STB will feed the HD broadcast to the PVR to record.

show your missus a few original cars in white and she'll change her mind pretty quick

I like the originality of a matched numbers car so I'm looking at another "67 atm that I'd be happier to paint purple.

Nice one! Maybe she would settle for the original plum/purple colour the deluxes came out in, was it a 66/67 colour?
