The blue one appears to be high, but the mirror can be swung out of the way to fully open the q/v window, and then re-positioned.

The other position is equally as good.

That isn't what mine looks like. Its a flat rectangular mirror.

The mounting will be basically the same as the bullet mirror. a plastic base attaches to the door, then the mirror mounts to the base.
you just have to get the masking tape out and play around with positioning first.

I think my difficulty is this specific mirror =/ it doesn't have the movement to sit where I need it. Fighting the urge to throw it..

You can buy a Tex metal plinth that lifts the mirror up.
Beware the standard plastic base you have, they can warp in the summer heat then the mirror falls off. Like mine did. I will put a pic of mirror + plinth up when I find it.

Karcraft stocks the metal plinth now.

Here you go. There is a sweet spot when you fit these. Needs to be far enough forward so as not to interfere with the quarter vent opening all the way.

Ideal is to get someone to help by holding the mirror while u sit in the drivers seat. Check u can still open the quarter window. You can always have the mirror lower an further back along the door. Remember the closer the mirror is to you the more you will see in it.

That is a long way forward! I was way off. Old holes are going to stick out badly... Do any other styles fit where the old wide holes are?

I have tried 2 sets of these...... both are now in rubbish. The plastic base is junk, it should be atleast diecast or ally.

I don't think you've shown us where the old holes are?
