Well from what I can see I will have to cut my lcb extractors to get them out before removing the engine
So am thinking of a new set that are easier to remove install
Any suggestions on brand to get etc

keen to see what people say on this one

my current extractors are becoming very 2nd hand and I'm thinking I'll replace them with C-AEG365 Maniflow the joint is back under the floor though which could be a pain

My current set have the joint down behind the motor, the Y piece has the bend in it - it makes it easier to get them off because I welded a little piece of rod between the pipes on the Y and I just belt on that with a long bar and it pops off after a few good whacks. Putting them on is the same...

curious about this one - AEG376

has a different size centre branch which seems reasonable

I find the Maniflow LCB comes apart ok IF you use nickel antiseize in the joint. I used kopr-kote before and it set solid with the heat. Needed Mr Anglegrinder's assistance to remove.

Yeah this is good enough for most people, unless you are running serious HP with a serious cam and want every last bit out of the engine (sacrificing low end). For that you may want to look at large bore or 3 into 1

I have these (C-AEG376)

I really like them, sound nice and maniflow make good stuff. I've taken them apart a few times with no issues.

I have these too on a stock 1100S but with a RE266SS cam and a 2.95:1 diff.
Pulls really strong from down low which is great with the tall diff.
Really happy with the combination :D
