Hi, I'm changing a round nose to a rod change and was wondering where the wiring ran from the reverse switch? At present I have arranged to have two wires which are below the dash and just need to connect these to the switch. The options seem to be entry into the car from the floor, or else come up the firewall to meet with all the other wires in the loom, but with the exhaust there I was not keen. thanks Steve. |

I'd put it under the carpet.. it's not original but neither is the gearbox, it's not like you need to drill any holes to do it |

I would do under the carpet as well. Doing it like the factory would be a pain. You would need to follow the wiring loom out of the firewall, down the drivers side of the inner guard, across the front of the car to the passenger side, then down next to the subframe under the harmonic ballancer, then under the floor pan to the rod change unit. |

Thanks all.... if that's where it goes, yes I reckon I will put it under the carpet! |
