My mate's Mini after Rylestone has a leaking hydro pipe with a pinhole, under the floor.
We could fix it with a short bit of copper pipe and 2x compression fittings, but the rest of the pipe is probably not much better.
Has anybody used Minispares nylon pipes over here? Car is a `71 Clubby.

When we repaired them in the dealership, we repaired by silver soldering. But the suspension was better drained, so you will require a hydro pump.

Kev, talk to Dave, sitnlo62. I remember he has the answer.

I have successfully replaced a section with that Black Nylon pipe and compression fittings they use for truck Air brakes. It is even possible to replace the whole thing end to end without having to remove sub frames with that stuff.

Thanks Tony. I just remembered I have 10M of that 3/8" nylon under the house, and maybe the push connect fittings too. :)

[edit] It looks like the RH rear bag has sprung a leak. It's not the pipe. I have a bunch of s/h Deluxe ones, so it's pressure testing time tomorrow.

(Edit) A S/h bag was pressure tested for 3 days then fitted.
I also amused myself by re-hosing 2 other bags which had rotted hoses. :)
