Hi all I've purchased a set of rubbers and locking strips for my car but they are both way to long around the screens anyone else had the same problem?

Yes, that was the case with the rear windscreen rubber I recently bought. I rang up to check and was told they could only source the British ones which are a bit longer.

You just need to cut an inch or two out of it- measure for correct length, then superglue it back together. Ive done it and its been a few years never any problems.

This one claims to be flexible, water and weather proof, and inexpensive.

If you work out how long you need and add an inch. Once its in the ends are pushed together enough to stop leaks. Fitted dozens that way, no leaks.

The shop I bought mine from also suggested that the joins on the rubber and locking strip should be on opposite sides from each other ie. one on top and one on the bottom (less chance of leaking).
