Hey guys,

I have a early (63-64) Morris 850, Im in the process of restoring the car and Im rebuilding the radius arms. I have the radius arm rebuild kit (bearing, brass bush, plastic sleeve) and I've removed the bearing and bush, BUT there is no plastic sleeve, I've tried to use a flat head screw driver on the edges and its not breaking/cracking like plastic should, its metal!..... any ideas? thanks in advance.

Original sleeve is steel. Keep them, the plastic sleeve in the kits is rubbish.
They can crack, then the whole arm casting fills with grease.

thanks for the quick reply. I've damaged the edge of the sleeve on both sides (with the flat head screwdriver) as i was trying to remove it. would it damage the replacement shaft? what should i do?

Just panel beat it back as best as possible, won't worry the shaft.
