Hi All, Just some feedback if possible; Is $500 reasonable for a 50% complete 74 mini? No engine, no subframe (front) no interior apart from rear seats. Wiring loom is there, lights (sort of), doors reasonably complete. Rust in usual areas. Cheers, Mike |

It depends on what you need it for. By that I mean are you buying it to start a project or are you buying it in addition to another car to make 1 good car out of 2 or buying it for a donor car for another car? If you are buying it to start a project, are the repairs needed to restore it within your skill set or do you know someone who can do the repairs cheap or would it be a checkbook restoration? It might work out cheaper in the long run to buy a more complete starting point because all the little bits that are missing can really add up in price. Brad |

I would suggest starting with a complete car. The cost will add up very quickly if your missing so much stuff. I have seen heaps of complete cars around $1000 - $1500. |

However as others have said to buy all the parts that are missing will cost money, but then there is no such thing as a cheap restoration any more |

I Say buy it and restore or rebuild before someone takes it to the tip. Save them ALL ! |
