Hi all is there any way of getting scratches out of glass? |

Yes, but depends how badly. You can do it with a random orbital polisher and glass polishing compound. I've tried this myself with mixed results but apparently you need a pretty powerful polisher ($$$) and mine is an entry level. It will remove and fill in very very minor scratches but any deeper than a few microns I think you need to talk to a glass specialist? |

try tooth paste on the polisher, takes a while but does eventually cut through the scratches |

Be careful with your toughened glass windows and original Mini (non S) windscreens. The outer layers are in compression, if you do much heavy polishing work it can go BANG! So a glass merchant told me. |

I did read about someone even just using clay bar on their windscreen and BANG! Might have been here on Ausmini....... |

It's the rear screen and has a scratch that you can feel with your finger nail. Right it in the bloody middle |
