Hi all,

Thought I would let you know about my recent experiences regarding the KAD front antiroll bar, the one requiring welded in bushes.

I'm putting my front sub frame together (very slowly) and had problems with the front antiroll bar being about 8mm too narrow so that it fouled the subframe. I discussed this with them, they offered to sell me the rubber bush version which I wasn't that pleased about....
Anyway after more discussion they offered to take the old one back and supplied me with a new wider bar, which fits fine. I also note the addition of a grease nipple and collar which I presume are new modifications which I welcome on a road car. They reimbursed the return postage on the old bars without me needing to request this..

All in all it's a very well made product (as you would expect for the price) and these issues were promptly sorted out. (Whether I really need a roll bar at all is another matter)

How close to the front of the gearbox is that going to be? Will it allow you to lower the engine into the frame? I would say you will need to remove it and re fit when engine in in place. (Not going to comment on look of the welding quality!) lol.

That is a massive bar. Not sure why you would want to stiffen up the front of a mini to make it handle better but I guess KAD would only be making them if people were buying them.
