Thoughts on these mounted to Std S rims and comparison to other semi slick e.g. A032R etc

Hi Dan,
I haven't used the Dunlop tyre you mention, but I'm very happy with the DUNLOP MOTORSPORT D93J. Mostly used at trackdays. Available from Stuckey Tyres.

Really look the part but absolutely hopeless in the wet. Have them mounted on rosepetals. Ok in the dry but feel like the tread needs buffing off as was needed with the Dunlop R's mentioned above and which I believe was the same compound.

I have them mounted on standard S rims. Their construction is very similar to a semi slick and are a very good tyre in the dry, with an exceptionally soft compound so don't expect them to last too long. I have used them on the track in poring rain on the group C car, and found they had reasonable grip. I would definitely use them again, and in fact am about to order another couple of sets.

I've had R7s for about a year and cant complain. mounted on petals and never needed balancing.
North Terrace Tyres in Adelaide are the cheapest vendor in SA.

They are painted on the outside in enamel and in Red Oxide behind.
