Had a Datsun 180B with a set of these.
Might also be 240Z or similar

Yes,
You'd have to know the size to be sure, but they are definitely Hitachi.
As said, a few Datsuns of the early 70's had them - 1600SSS; 180BSSS, 240Z, 260Z.

They look like the smaller versions on the 1600SSS or 180BSSS I think they were similar but not the same. (180BSSS - early from 72-75. By 76 on, they reverted to a single downdraft Hitachi). The 240 & 260, were both bigger - the differences looking like the difference between a 1.25 and 1.75 SU in mini's (bigger, more rounded shape).

There may be other Jap makes which used Hitachi's as well perhaps of course but I've had a lot of history with Datsuns.
