Sorting through some old photos and found these shots of my '71 Cooper S taken around 1980.
Fibreglass Clubman tilt front / de-seamed with integrated flared guards / Clubman tail lights / Colt Gallant seats / custom dash with Clubman padded top and lower sections / thermatic fan and engine mods by KG Engineering.

No regrets, it was a different time back then and we had a lot of fun

You would have had to do an advanced driving course before you can have a red car.

Fiat 128, haha
Don't diss the Fiats...
Any motor that survives being thrashed mercilessly by the Italians in the old country is a good thing. :)

Years ago I saw a Mini in Auckland that had a twin cam Fiat engine in it fitted "North-South"! Chatted to the owner and realized very quickly he was mad, completely mad.....

Um, it was rear wheel drive with a 1/3 of the engine/ gearbox in the cabin. It all had a "home-made" look about it. He said it "didn't handle that great but was possibly the fastest Mini on the planet". I declined his kind offer of going for a spin on the motorway. As I said, he was mad, mad!!
