Hey guys just after some photos on how you installed your oil cooler.
I do have the clubman cooler kit but not sure if i want to use it or go with something custom.
Cheers

Is this for a clubman GT?

There should be two tabs welded to the body, which accompanied with a bracket that bolts to these tabs and the front valance between the number plate holder brackets holds an oil cooler.

I ran a cooler in my 78 leyland mini a few yrs ago and just made two short plates from steel and bolted the cooler to the tabs and drilled a couple holes in the top of the front subframe and bolted it to it.

Dont have any photos at hand of these

They would be a generic strapping that you can cut and bend to suit your needs.

Early clubmans and GT's have a different bracket at the front subframe mounting points that allows a little bit more room (around 1/2" if I recall) to fit an oil cooler between the subframe and front panel.
If you don't have the early setup and the GT oil cooler brackets spot welded onto the front panel then you'll need to attach the oil cooler to the front of the subframe. I'd ignore using the generic brackets and make up a couple of much smaller and thicker brackets and bolt to the subframe - things might get a bit tight but it will fit.
Cheers
