Where has everyone bought from? After a Morris bonnet and boot, what's the shipping like from the UK? |

I've bought a fair bit from carbon weezel, everything I've had made is pure carbon, not the elcheapo Carbon skin fibreglass underneath. I've got a double skinned carbon boot and even had the first number plate holder made, all of the oem fittings are installed. I've also had made a clubman bonnet again all the brackets and braces are in carbon fibre, which I don't think any of the other manufacturers go to these extremes. There quality is excellent but it's a long wait between order and recieving, let me know if you want some pics. Also got a carbon radiator fan and radiator brackets, haven't installed the fan yet. Shipping wasn't so bad, and my invoice on the box was under $1000 aud ![]() P.s just be prepared from some members on here saying just lose weight, waste of money blah blah ![]() |

I used to buy f/g Mini stuff from Errol Platt in Melbourne many moons ago. There was also a business in Sydney that advertised images of Mini panels in RCN every month (full page ad) - I bought a Broadspeed dash, very wide sports sedan wheel arch flares and a f/g lift off front end from them, all well made and good fits. There was also a guy in Adelaide associated with the Mini 850 club who did a lot of stuff (along with a variety of garden furniture). These sources are long gone and I don't know where in OZ these sorts of things are available nowadays, if at all. The last f/g panels I got came from the UK - race bonnet and one piece rear van door from Mini Spares. They were well finished and fit well, reasonably priced and postage wasn't too bad. I've also imported f/g SD1 panels from the UK in the past (Isle of Wight actually) but these required a lot of work to get them to fit well for a road car. Great power to weight ratio though. |

![]() Errol passed away may years ago. Not sure if Northen Mini Parts ended up with his mini moulds, but the Northern Moulds ended up with British sporting cars here in Bendigo. |
